Amazing. This was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve ever had. The place is great, the amenities are wonderful. It’s got a great history and the most wonderful warm and cozy feeling but lots of light just like the pictures. You’re steps from the beach and can hear the waves at night. Super close to tide pools and other amazing gems. Great hosts who clearly care. Probably my best Airbnb experience.

Our stay at this incredible Airbnb in the Azores was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The house was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed. The location was amazing—just a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in São Miguel!
Bertha and her husband were exceptional hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their local tips and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I truly didn’t want to leave this wonderful place! I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough; it was a perfect retreat, and I can’t wait to return! Thank you, Bertha!

The house is simply amazing! We received a warm welcome from the hosts in person.
The garden is a dream. Small breakfast spot with delicious coffee across the street. The kitchen is perfectly equipped.
It will be a pleasure to return.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are charming, always available and helpful. They even provided us with a high chair for our 2-year-old son. You can be at the beach in a minute, and a supermarket and restaurants are also within walking distance. There is no bathtub, but you can cool off in the pool at any time. The garden offers privacy. The accommodation is a romantic oasis that we absolutely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful location right next to the beach. Great courtyard for eating meals outside, and many great places to view the sunset.
Recommend stopping for groceries in town (loved the Pingo Doce stores) before you get here as the local mini markets have some basics but not as much as we wished.
